What’s New?

As many may already know, Elizabeth from Elizabeths Embroideries and myself have teamed up and created a new Yahoo Machine Embroidery chat group Called: Embroidery Designs Digest also known as EDD. The group is free to join and a place where many embroidery enthusiasts can meet, share ideas, and their current projects.

I have been encouraged to be more creative and digitize more designs for you, by you! Yes, your encouragement has really inspired me to.

Get er’ done!

This past month, I’ve somehow managed to complete several designs sets. From funny to floral beauties!

Monthly Tip:

What to do with all those test patterns?

Try this, After testing and the pattern appears to look good - Turn it into an appliqué!! HOW?

First: Purchase some “Heat-n-Bond” Wal-Mart carries it.

2. Apply the heat and bond to the back of your item.

3. When cooled, carefully clip around the edges of your pattern and you have an appliqué!!

NOTE: If you are doing stitch work. Clip your square, square, after applying the heat and bond - and you can use it on a shirt .. Making a mock patch work shirt!!

After ironing on your new appliqué, If your machine has a Blanket Stitch set it on the longest stitch available, and stitch it to your shirt, pants, blanket, or pillow top!
